The UDE BioSLiDES digital scans / specimens (image data as well as their textual description) are Open Educational Resources available under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence by naming the author
"Michael Kloster, UDE BioSLiDES (https://bioslides.biologie.uni-due.de), University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany".
Naming the author is mandatory!

UDE BioSLiDES uses following components:

The navigator highlights the currently display image section by a red frame, this can be positioned directly within the navigator by clicking/dragging it with the mouse. The current mouse position is shown in the position display; clicking it will create a link to the current view |

Please also note the focus slider (on the left). A higher plane / larger z-value corresponds to raising the microscope stage, i.e. the focal plane is deeper within the specimen |

Toggles the rotation settings. You can set the rotation angle via the rotation slider. A double click (on touchpads "swipe down" gesture) onto the slider will reset the rotation angle to 0° |
